Element of Design

This image was taken before a dinner one day about the topic food. I really like taking pictures of things that people want or to eat, so I took this picture to capture that feeling for hunger. This photo I like because it shows lines. It has many lines such as the ribs going up the plate to the bread, and back down to the potatoes, it shows basically a triangle shape. I also took this picture with the feel of texture; I wanted to capture the texture of the food to make people hungry. This picture has color also, the dark shade of brown of the ribs, the light color of the bread, and green from the vegetables. I like the balance of the plate also; the ribs, potatoes, and the bread balance each other out.
