Best Actor Head Shot

My partner was Hilary, she did a very good job of creating the depth of feel I was looking for. I took this picture asking my model to pretend that she was taking her yearbook photo for her class yearbook. I asked her to be however she is and just do what she feels is appropriate. I like this formal portrait because it emphasizes on her, and nothing else. I also like the value in this picture because the black and white emphasizes her because there is no color to get distracted. I really like the value in this picture, there is a good quality of color and shades of gray in this picture giving it a nice feel of value.
